Prerequisite: Admission to MA program in psychology or consent of instructor The major counseling theories are explored in an academic and experiential format. Role-playing and videotaping of the theories are common modalities. A sampling of the theories discussed are Reality Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Client Centered Therapy and the Psychoanalytic Model.
