Prerequisite: BIOL 121 with a minimum grade of "C-"; and BIOL 122 with a minimum grade of "C-" or equivalent; or consent of instructor Corequisite: BIOL 284L This course covers the biology of invertebrates from a phylogenetic standpoint with emphasis on taxonomy, morphology, physiology, development and natural history. Representatives of the principal classes of each phylum are studied. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly. Offered periodically.
