Prerequisite: COMD 294 This course is a study of typical and atypical speech sound development in children. It focuses on etiology, prevention, diagnosis, assessment, cultural differences and treatment of speech sound disorders in children. Use of phonological process analysis and traditional phonetic approaches will be covered. Offered fall semester.
