Prerequisite: Matriculation in a graduate program in psychology or counselor education; or consent of instructor This course provides a comprehensive review of the psychological study of human development, including its historical and cultural context. Current theory and research in areas such as cognition, emotion, physical maturation, self concept and attachment to others are examined and integrated through relational and biological perspectives. The interface between theory and application in clinical practice is highlighted.
