Prerequisite: THEA 220 and THEA 242; or consent of instructor Directing I is a hands-on course designed to get students comfortable with making creative, collaborative, and thoughtful choices for the stage. As a class, we will dive into topics related to directing for theatre as well as into the work and processes of directors and artists in the theatre community. Students will develop a working creative process as they direct, present and critique scenes in class. Offered fall semester. May be taken for graduate-level credit.
