Prerequisite: Prerequisite: MATH 122 with a minimum grade of "C-" or MATH 150 with a minimum grade of "C-" or MATH 161/161E with a minimum grade of "C-", any of which may be taken concurrently; or mathematics placement test Corequisite: Must be taken concurrently with COMP 143 This is a beginning course in programming, which introduces concepts of computer organization. Problem-solving methods and algorithmic development stressing good programming style and documentation including top down and modular design will be covered. This course emphasizes problem solving with programming exercises run on the computer. Offered fall and spring semesters. (Formerly COMP 101)
