Prerequisite: MUSC 275 with a minimum grade of "C-" This course introduces melodic harmonization, seventh chords and modulation along with further work in voice leading. Larger musical forms including variation techniques and sonata form will also be studied. Sight-singing, ear-training and keyboard work will further enhance students' abilities to write, hear and perform music. Meets four hours weekly. Offered fall semester.
