Prerequisite: Matriculation in the MA program in psychology or consent of instructor The nature, etiology, consequences and prevention of the major emotional disorders of children, considered from a developmental viewpoint. Areas include emotional problems of normal children as well as serious psychopathology. Primary emphasis is on psychological factors responsible for deviance. Some attention to organic and constitutional factors.
