Prerequisite: PSYC 201 with a minimum grade of "C"; and PSYC 304 with a minimum grade of "C" or PSYC 320 with a minimum grade of "C"; and PSYC 310; and three of the following: PSYC 336, PSYC 342, PSYC 352, PSYC 370; or consent of instructor This course examines how theories, principles, methods and research findings from social psychology can be applied to the understanding and solution of everyday social problems. Applications to clinical and health psychology as well as issues related to the legal system, education and the environment are examined. As an advanced course, students are expected to reach proficiency in applying different methodological approaches, synthesizing research findings, oral and written communication, applying ethical standards, APA style and project management skills. Offered annually.
